Bessborough School Council is excited to introduce a Musical for Grades 5 to 8. 

 

Working with the talented StageCoach team, we will be performing the much loved production of Peter Pan. Students from Grades 5-8 are invited to join. 

 

The Grades 5-6 will form an ensemble and Grades 7-8 will have an opportunity to audition for speaking/singing roles.  Online registration forms are attached. To participate please fill out and return this form to: bessborough.drama@gmail.com by January 15th. 

 

Audition details & materials will be emailed upon receipt of registration form.

 

PLEASE NOTE: A registration form  MUST be received by the Stagecoach team (by email) in order to be granted an audition.  The maximum participants that will be selected is 65.  

 

Auditions will be held on January 22nd after school.

 

The students will pay $50 as a guarantee towards participation. This money will convert into 2 tickets to the performance. If this causes any hardship to any family please fill out the form and CC Ms Broderick (patricia.broderick@tdsb.on.ca)

 

Rehearsals will be held after school every Wednesday: 3:30-6:00pm.  

Grades 7-8 may be called to every after school rehearsal. 

Grades 5-6 are likely not to be needed each week.  

Families will be emailed each week prior to Wednesday with the specific rehearsal call for that week. 

 

Dress Rehearsal: April 22nd

Performances: April 23rd and April 24th. 

 

Bessborough School Council Update

Bessborough has been operating a Home & School Association AND a Ministry-mandated School Council together.

 This fall, the Executive assessed the pros and cons of this organizational structure and concluded that it is better to simply run as Bessborough School Council, reasons include:

• Better insurance coverage and costs for our social events, including Mayfair

• Ability to leverage the school’s cash online and accounting system for easier parent payment and financing reporting

• More simple organizational structure to manage and sustain our parent volunteer group

Our purpose, goals, fundraising and events do not change!
